.....but, every time you guys upgrade, it gets worse.

I agree, and it is a fact of computer technology. Every time I upgrade my computer I am disappointed. We are victims of a sick business model designed to keep IT departments in control. It's a conspiracy of the intergalactic proportions.

I'm sure everyone's intentions are in the right place but Steve is right. Seems like we attempt a step forward with this website and end up 3 steps back. There is always a fix that has to happen with our upgrades. I have no idea what is involved with getting a website up, going, and working properly. I am an end user and my experience is not ideal. Its tolerable. About a step above not visiting the site any longer to avoid the hassle. Is it time to scrap this format and move to a, dare I say, TurfNet-like format? TurfNet always seems to work flawlessly even when they go thru their upgrades. Again, I barely qualify as a novice surfer. All I know is theirs works and this one doesn't.

I said the same about the TurfNet vs. GCSAA formats four years ago or so but that suggestion resulted in crickets.

I also agree with Dr. Stowell. I refuse to upgrade, ever. I refuse to get on the hamster-wheel and chase technology like that industry intends for all of us to do. But they do seem to have everyone bamboozled by the "neat-o, kean-o" latest and greatest. I have a perfectly good Imac at home that is now labeled "vintage". It's 6 years old. It does everything I need it to do but it is no longer "supported" so my next stop is to junk everything and move to the forest wearing nothing but a bark suit and sleep standing up. Enough already.

Kind of hoping now that we paid for them. Maybe get our money back.

Seems like the whole thing could be be avoided if only GCSAA would remember the old saying, "If it aint broke, don't fix it." Just my 2 cents. The job board is absolutely terrible now.
