GCSAA Legacy Awards
Funded in part by Grass Clippings
The GCSAA Legacy Awards competition aids children and grandchildren of GCSAA members. Awards of $1,500 each are funded in part by Grass Clippings and the GCSAA Foundation.
Key facts
- Awards of $1,500
- Must be a senior in high school or enrolled in an institute of higher learning
- Parent or grandparent must be active Class A, B, C, EM, A-Retired, B-Retired or AA member for five or more consecutive years.
- Past winners may reapply after a one-year hiatus
- More than one student from the same family maybe awarded a scholarship within the same year
- Annual deadline is April 15
Selection Criteria
Evaluated on academic achievement, extracurricular and community involvement, leadership and outside employment
Must submit an original essay of up to 500 words on a topic related to the golf industry
Must submit transcripts from all high school and colleges attended
Financial need is not a factor
