Our shop is going High Tech with a 50" digital monitor/TV. I am looking for an existing golf maintenance program for the computer that will mimic the old Daily Assignment Board. Thanks for your input.

I had never seen this in a mtc facility before, but can only imagine the possibilities.

Sorry to bring an old topic back to life, we are looking at going digital as well and was wondering if you happened to find any software that was beneficial in replacing a white board?

Saw a system where they used a TV and mirrored a desktop computer to it. They then used Google drive to display a speadsheet type document with assignments and tasks. The cool thing about this is you can update it from your smart phone from anywhere and multiple people can access it if needed.

I am sure it would work well, hard to justify that kind of money but, rock on. White board will have to do for now wonder if it will work in Japanese? should, I think?

We've been using one for the past 6 months, more so for second assignments. We started out small just to test the system to see how well it would work with our staff. It has a 24" touch screen monitor with a built-in Android system and wi-fi for internet connection, it's like a 24" cell phone. We also use a Google Drive spread sheet that can be updated in the field from a cell phone or iPad. It's worked out great for us and I love the ability to change assignments from the field and not having to make sure I'm back at the shop for second assignments. We'll be looking at expanding to a larger system after the first of the year.
