I have been contacted by a company who wants to dive in our lakes and creek to retrieve golf balls for their profit.  Although their payment to us ($.10 per usable golf ball) seems light to me, it might be a good rate.  Are there any other companies out there who do this?  I would appreciate any information.

It was ten cents twenty five years ago, but for every ball found. I think it's still the going price.

Had a company that did our lakes.  After a few trips they pretty much knew how many they would get on a monthly basis.

For example, if they thought they would get 1000 balls they would bring with them 250 clean, ready-to-sell balls in return for the 1000 they would get by diving.  So, essentially, we would get 25% of the balls they found.  The 25% they brought with them came from some other course ponds, not ours, as they were already cleaned and ready-to-sell.  Our 1000 balls were, I guess, washed, sorted, and brought with them on their next job to be traded in.
