    GREETINGS -

We have all been wondering why we have not heard from Hammer for the past few years. It is a very sad story. Before I go on , I would like us all to pause for a moment in time, and in that moment of silence, I would ask that we all send some positive thoughts Hammer's way. Ready ? GO.

There it worked. I myself can feel the vibrations as they pass through each and every one of us. Hammer, we need you back.

What is that ? Some of you have not heard ? Well you all must have read his posting by now. We are all sorry that this one slipped by and has made it to the forum. We thought the security in happy land was a bit stronger.

Yes, Hammer does now feel cleansed. It is from the enema that they first give you once you enter the sanitarium. It is mandatory, so you do not have any unfortunate accidents in the room with the white walls. Yes, it is probably the most mindless thing anyone has posted on the forum, as sad but true, Hammer has lost his mind. What may appear to be mindless banter to some, is now a way of life for our fellow superintendent Hammer.

Many of us are hoping for a speedy recovery, yet we need to keep sending those positive thoughts. I have found out that strike 2, is actually the sanitariums code word for the straight jacket, and all of this talk about closet banter lovers, comes from yet another sanitarium code word for the "small room" . This is where they put the mindless banterers once they have found a way to make contact with the real world. The sanitarium understands that the GCSAA forum must be protected from this nonsense. Again, you may all rest assured that Hammer will be safe for now , in the straight jacket, in the small room.

On the positive side, I have heard from Hammer's male nurse, Stu Padaso, that there is hope for recovery. A little quiet time, positive energy from his friends, and his poor misguided soul will find his way back to us and this forum. Hammer, we love you. Let us close this message with another round of good wishes for our friend and colleague.

Junior, I posted this in March of 2002. I saw Hammer in San Diego at the GCSAA Conference about 10 or 12 years ago. Is he still in "One Flew Over The Coocoo's Nest". Where is he!!!!!!!!
