Looks like I am going to the Masters Saturday and Sunday. Unless my buddy who I am staying with scores a badge for the weekend I will be solo. Anyone else going to be there who wants to keep me company at the tournament?

    Jason,
The weather gods have allowed me to go this weekend too. If you are still looking for a Masters buddy let me know-
I plan to be there on Sat. and Sun. as well.
    Thanks,

Did anyone catch the 2 guys hand raking the bunker on #18 before the play-off. They were in perfect time with each other. Almost like dancing. I can see my staff doing that now. Ha Ha

I saw that as well... undoubtedly intentional, don't you think? All a part of the aura...

I too saw that. Anyone catch the guy dew whipping the edge of 18 green after the Jason day group played through from leischman's bunker shot?

I would like to give a huge shout out to the turf techs responsible for the precision cuts on all playing surfaces @ the Masters.

Too many times the commentators gobble all over themselves about this player that player but to me the Superintendent and his / her staff are mentioned less and less by the national media.

So from one who's been in the game w/you - props to you.

I was on #12 one year during a practice round with a friend. After a sand shot he said "I'm surprized no one comes out of the trees to clean that sand off the green." We were part way up #13 and looked back. Sure as heck there were 2 guys sweeping up sand on 12 green. Great place. Congrats to everyone involved. Kenneth Ingram, UMD.

Mike Tirico, Curtis Strange and Andy North had some really positive things to say about the course conditions of both the "little course" and the "big course" during their broadcast of the Par 3 tournament on Wednesday. I think it was Andy North that made the comment that he had never seen the course looking better than it was for this year.

Is there a spectators dress code for the Masters?

The short answer is no. I have seen people wear jeans and other things i find inappropriate but that is there taste i suppose. Attending the Masters as a privilege of GCSAA membership I have always endeavoured to dress in a first class manner:golf shirt, slacks or tailored shorts etc. as most patrons seem to do.
