I am needing some advice on locating the best sand for top dressing and bunker fill. The area my golf course is in is far from sand and gravel retailers and the shipping costs are extremely high. My course is in Northeastern Nevada (Spring Creek) and we are 3-5 hours away from many bigger cities. The last time we purchased sand we paid less than $2,000 for the sand but the shipping costs were over $4,500.
Also, is washed mason sand a good option or what would you suggest?
