I did a search and it seems like a lot of the info I found was on rolling for speed.

What type roller seems to best fit for after aerification?

I currently have a Salsco which works ok but seems to be much slower then what I need. This is not to say its super slow but it seems like it will take about 5-6 hours for a really good operator to finish rolling the greens maybe all day with a normal operator. This becomes a problem if I have to wait until the dew dries before using it. (Maybe I need 2)

I see there are larger rollers out there and would like to know thoughts on them if anyone is using them.

What are you using after your aerification?

We have exclusively solid tine aerated greens for years now.  We aerate, roll, and then topdress and work it in..  The rolling seems to close up the holes prior to sand integration.

We have a Salsco 9074 electric roller, a Salsco HP-11-III, and a tru-turf gas roller.

The 9074 does the best job at shrinking holes.  The last venting we did (only a .2500" OD) we rolled with the HP-11-III and then with the 9074 and the holes were noticeably smaller after the 9074 roll.  We have the tournament rollers and used one of them, when we used the 9074.

I feel the tru-turf roller does not close up the holes as good as either Salsco.

    Hope that helps,
    Alden
