Has anyone played around with rates of gyphosate to control poa on a kentucky bluegrass fairway?  Had some winter damage and need to reseed into an existing stand of K. Blue and I want to save the K.Blue and take out some of the poa that survived the winter.

Unless there is something new about glyphosate or roundup ready bluegrasses that I haven't heard of, that sounds pretty scary.

Matt, I went out last year and tried a ounce per acre rate in a couple spots as a trial. Dinged the poa back but didn't quite kill it. Didn't get a chance to get back out to try a little higher rate but plan to do it this year. Good luck.

Not of any help but I did use 11oz acre one year over semi dormant Bermuda. it knocked the Poa back for about two weeks, no damage to the bermuda. I think there's more luck using Diaquat on bermuda with less long term damages
