    The World Series certainly captured my interest.
    I actually viewed the games to learn more about the Royals since I live in the National League market - but I came away in awe of the Giants, historically at that.

    Allow me to opine;

    First and foremost the pitching by the 25 year old Bumgardner was astonishing and historic. Follow that by the 6-4-3 DPlay by Panik, also historic since it was originally a safe call overturned by the folks in video room in New York.

    SF / Pos / Player / Label

    1. Bumgardner- Best (pitcher)
    2. Posey - Prolific and im"posing"
    3. Belt - Big @ bag
    4. Panik- Perfect
    5. Sandoval, Pablo- Stunning, Pinnacle
    6. Crawford-Cunning
    7. Perez - Plentiful defensively
    8. Blanco - Believable
    9. Pence - Prolific, Productive, Pandemic
    DH. Morse - Mean machine

    You'd think Bud Selig could at least comb his hair before an appearance on national TV. I wonder if that guys from Chevy is cleaning out his desk right now...felt bad for the guy. "Technology and stuff"...

    Great game. I thought KC was going to get the Hollywood ending at the bottom of the ninth.

    I saw that with the Chevy guy as well. Not the best spokesman that Chevy could put in front of a national audience :roll:
    As for the series, very interesting. Blowouts, close games, great pitching on both sides. In the end, either team could have won, but the Giants did. I have not seen any TV ratings, but I would guess it got very low ratings. Now we will be getting a parade with a million spectators in the rain on Friday !
