   I bet all of the GCSAA staff is in shock due to The Aztecs beating the Jayhawks in hoops in their own building! Welcome to defense San Diego State style. Imagine if the Aztecs hadn't blown so many easy baskets. This win tells me my Aztecs are for real and will be reckoned with in March madness. The great think is that 2014 is supposed to be a re-building year. We are loaded with talent for next year and these guys are all ready looking great! This isn't to rub it in for all of you in Lawrence. It just shows how excited we are about beating a perennial powerhouse. Our program is looking great under Steve Fisher.

   Being a Missouri guy I had a little fun with that as well. Our Pro is a KU guy but since we don't play each other anymore, we've kind of decided to be nice to one another.(At least what we can standJ) Our FB program is heads above their's and KU BB has been much better than us even though at times we are a little more competitive. He had a double whammy last weekend with KC blowing that game as well. Fischer has done a nice job there. Show's he is a little better coach than what some people give him credit for at Michigan even though he did win a National Title his first season, gotta give him credit. Fab 5 kind of bigger than life group had somewhat overshadowed his accomplishments.

   My boys are now # 5. Still don't shoot well but they play incredible defense.
