    From what I followed on twitter, the US press conference sounded like it might have got a little testy? (or maybe a different word would be better)? I do wonder if Phil is right about maybe going back to the pod system that Azinger ran. I did think it was a mistake to play Phil in both matches on Friday, but also disagree that he should have sat out both matches on Saturday. Some in the comment section backed Phil stating what he did since he was just answering the question he was asked. Others (and I guess Brandel Chamblee for one) really criticized Phil for making the comments.

    The reporters I follow were looking forward to the European Presser, as they felt the liquor would make for some fun comments.

    Didn't see the press conferences. Turned off the telly after the Europeans locked up, at least, a tie. The Ryder Cup ended as everyone thought it would. My opinion, it doesn't matter what kind of system, pod or otherwise, we use. The Europeans are better than the US. They have been for 10 years. Although I did think of one system that may work. Play better golf.
