To everyone I have met in my golfing career, Tomorrow will be my last day as a Golf Course Superintendent. I have worked over 28 years at many golf courses from San Diego to Northern California and decided to take on a new adventure. I will miss the fresh cut grass every morning. I have met many great people and hope to continue that. I'll still be involved in the industry, but as a manager of a tree service company. This was a very tough and thought out processes to leave Willowbrook Golf Course for this new adventure and change in a career that I was raised in. You all have a great day and continue growing green grass.

    Alberto,

Good luck in your new career. Probably a bit less stressful than being involved in golf right now.

Take care and enjoy life to it's fullest.

My new adventure and career change has been great. I do miss the fresh cut grass in the mornings, but enjoying not having to get up at 3 am every morning. The stress is gone and my health is getting better. Beat colon cancer and have had a relapse on my skin cancer on my nose. Been very fortunate that my Dr's have been on top of everything and making sure the proper procedures are taken to cure the skin cancer. Hope you all are doing great.

    Fairways and greens, Alberto!
As a former climber, I hope your new position is firmly on the ground. Best of luck in your new career (they really aren't so far apart).
