Anywhere but here on this forum. Every company that sells to golf courses would love the free advertising you might get on this forum.

Have you noticed that you're the only one trying to get free advertising?

How about joining every chapter and showing up at a meeting or two? That might help.

Wow! the lack of etiquette is amazing. to try to take advantage of free advertizing. That's even worst than pro's and some superintendents showing up at another's course without an advance courtesy call and expecting to be comped. What nerve some have.

    Robert,

Click on this link and fill out a membership application, you can pay your dues by PayPal. (Thanks Pete for the idea, we need to build up our chapter membership.) Or is this a lack of etiquette?

Of course once this post gets pulled.......?

Mel, it's lack of etiquette, among other things, only if you're the Membership Chairman and you get paid a bonus on new members.

We don't have a membership chairman, but I am the Secretary - Treasurer, so does that count? No bonus structure though.

I like the idea of membership bonuses. But more so in recruiting new members. Say, $10 off your annual dues if you get a new member to join.

To all on the forum that I offended. My intentions were not to do so and I apologize. As a small start up I am using all the resources that I can before I Jump onto advertising. I will be honest in saying I was trying to use this for free advertising. I will look into the rules about that in my future endeavors.

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I hope not! Just want some constructive feedback from customers. I have been calling around and got in touch with a number of my buyers. Everyone is so busy. Finding time for a conversation can be difficult.
