Hey so just wondering what brand of bedknives everyone here prefers. Oem. toro/jake/deere/baroness. Or R&R, CTI, JRM ect. I think oem hardened steel are usually the best quality... but Deere has been getting so expensive that I've just been running standard R&R bedknives. let me know what brand/hardness you prefer, thanks

OEM Only. Tried R&R years ago, by the time I ground the warp out of them they were done. One time use. Never bought them again. I stay with factory knives. I try to save money as much as possible I won't skimp on bed knives greens are to important. As far as prices all brands are to expensive. What do you do.

I agree with Ron. I only use Deere or Jac bedknives when I can. I used to use R&R and they are ok if using thick knives for tees or fairways, but greens OEM only. R&R there is typically a lot of grinding to get them true. I like JRM and they do last, but their prices have gone up significantly.
