I have a Toro pro force pull behind blower, it has a Kohler CH 740 engine. It's a 2018 year, my question is why does it diesel, keep trying to run, after you turn the key off. I've put new spark plugs, fuel filters, and added fuel additives to boost octane to 89 no change.  Any suggestions?

Their may be some crap in carb or fuel solenoid, not letting the valve close completely. run some seafoam in it for a the next several tanks of gas to see if that helps. good luck.

We had this same problem, turned out to be a slight tear in fuel pump diaphragm that;s on valve cover, fuel would drip in on hot cylinder and keep igniting, took us awhile to find it. Went thru same stuff you did.
