Hello all, my club purchased a few Ren-O-Thins and was planning to use them around the collars of greens where some crowning has occurred for years of sand accumulation.  I am hoping that this will help to achieve a nice even green-to-collar transition.  I am also hoping to use these on our tee top to help reduce thatch build-up.  When I use the Ren-O-Thins on the tee tops, the blades barely tickle the surface.  I have the depth setting as low as it can go.  Am I missing something here?  I know that these machines are being used on bermudagrass for overseed prep in the south west.  Do I need different blades.  It came with the flail type blades.  I thought that they had more of a fixed type blade set-up.  Any thoughts?  Thanks
