Attended a Maine GCSA meeting yesterday and got a taste of the entire region. Just in their state there are coastal courses nearly clear, to inland courses still under 5 feet of snow. Open in NJ to not even removing snow in Vermont yet. Let's get a pulse on the region, where does your course stand now, and where were you at this time last year?

We opened 14 greens this past weekend, last year at this time I was in northern Nj and we were open fully.

The course will not open for another three weeks at the earliest. Snow depths remain at 6-8" depths on the course. Plowed most greens twice during last few months. Most greens show stressed turf from the extended ice cover and only one really looks like it will need a bunch of recovery work. We'll deal with it when the weather warms up. Can't lose sleep over things I can't control!

Still have 10-12" of snow on the course. Started clearing greens a week or so ago. Turf doesn't look to bad at this point. Probably won't open till mid April sometime.

Wow. I just realized I'm 1 year late in posting my reply. Oh well. It still fits. Last season we had dead grass all over the greens. Hoping got something better this year.
