Handicap flags Cancel The title field is required!

   Are there any published rules on who should be allowed a handicap flag on their golf cart? We have a variety of older gentlemen who think they should get a flag and be allowed to take their cart next to a green.

   When I worked for a county in New Jersey, the golfer had to produce a Doctor's note or I believe their paperwork that they use to get a handicap car plate or placard.
   
   Where I'm at now, they do not enforce cart rules, so there is no need to give out handicap flags, anyone can drive up next to the green and unfortunately too many of them do.

   Well it seems like we got a few when we started a new Thursday tournament. They would come in as guest or visiters to play in the tournament and then proceed to pull a flag out of their car to put on the golf cart. They got pretty pissed when I told them we do not honor handicap flags at our course. We are a member owned provate course that does not use handicap flags nor do any of my members want them.
