One of our pumphouses is close to completely being ruined. The ceiling has collapsed and so on. My question has anyone replaced the building with any kind of pre fab? I am trying to think of best way to be without power for the shortest amount of time. I am not sure about power company being able to allow us some temporary setup to keep power and afraid to ask before we are ready with replacement because they would probably shut power off today with how we had to prop the line up going into it today after small storm yesterday. Thanks in advance for any help or advice anyone has to offer.

    Scott,

You power company can connect to a temporary power supply until the building is reconstructed. You will have to have an electrician pull a permit, but it can be done. It takes a while though. Should've started yesterday.

    Good luck.

Scott, we had a metal building built for our pump house. They built it in 2-3 days. Metal frame went up one day anchored to the slab, and insulation and panels for the sides and roof next. We had to cut ventilation holes on one side and install a fan for cooling on the other side. If I have to pull a pump or motor, I just take off one of the roofing panels.
