My heads are ran with the Hunter I-Core controller boxes. The system I've inherited is basically a bunch of Hunter commercial/high-end residential heads, valves, controllers, etc. It's especially irritating coming from clubs where I used predominantly Toro and Rain Bird Golf products.
So, the issue I'm having is that I have 120 VAC's coming into the box and then the output to the solenoids at each electric valve is supposed to be 24 VAC. I know that throughout the system you're going to lose voltage, but at one box I only have 6 volts going out to the zones associated with that controller. So, of course I am not getting any response when I turn on any of those zones. The rest of my boxes are working perfectly, but just the one box is having this problem and of course it's the box that supplies 7 of my greens on the back 9.
Anyone know what the issue may be or have had any similar problems like this? I feel like it's a simple fix and at any second the lightbulb will go off.
