Alright...so I get back from the GIS and my Assistant has ghosted the edge of our bent grass greens with a Finale application. Anywhere from 1-2 inches, up to several inches. This is not something I have seen with Finale, so I am not sure what to expect. I have seen it with Roundup years ago, and it just reddened, but didn't die.
This application was made through a spray hawk, banding around the green at 20 gal/acre volume and a Finale rate of 3 qts/A. Nothing else was in the tank. It doesn't look like it was direct contact in most areas, and we had manufactured a 'drift shield' off the end of the spray hawk...alot of good that did.
Anyone have experience with something similar or any tips. I am hopeful that we do not loose the canopy and that we will be able to grow out of it. Thanks.
