I have been approached by our recreation/grounds staff of our city with an inquiry of using the golf course in the winter for fat bike trails. Anyone currently offering this? Any issues with it? Do you groom it, and how? We already have cross country skiing and the equipment to groom those trails, look forward to hearing your responses.

We just began this journey, used a snowmobile to lay down the path. We'll post results this spring...

We have a trail system around the perimeter of our course. It is heavily used all 4 seasons. We granted a local trail Network permission to utilize the clubs property; they maintain it and they carry separate insurance on the trail system. Just one more way for us to give back to our community.
They use a mid-sized snowmobile with a small pull behind groomer on the trails in the winter months.

Sorry to admit, but I've never heard of a fat bike trail. Is that like phat?
