I remember reading that the old forums are available in a read only format. Are/will the old forums be transported into this new format, and if so, when?

    Hi Rich,

The old forums will be available as read-only as soon as we get everything switched over and linked back up. The old forums will stay in the read-only format -- there's just no way to transfer all the discussions to the new forums. The two products use a different code base and have a different structure, so there's not an export/import process that would transfer all the postings, as well as your user profile information, into the new version.

That's probably been the greatest downside to making the switch, but changing to a new product was long overdue. Given the circumstances, keeping the information accessible was the best available option. We hope that some of the more active topics will be restarted over here quickly.

Hey Pete, remember that will have to go into the political forum?

Many of you may have already noticed this, but we wanted to let you know that the old forums have been linked back up in the read-only format.

    They're available at:

Are the old forums still around in an archive on the site?
If so, how do I get there?

You'll probably have to wait a couple minutes to log in.

I went looking for Tracey. He hasn't been seen since the new forum started

Also I remembered a thread about "The Logan Program" that I wanted to reread. Steve O went on a bit of a tear.

Was also reminiscing about Timmy Daniels and Chris Thuer

    "A bit of a tear"? What's that?

Also, has the Logan program died yet?

Funny, I'm facebook friends with all except Timmy, I think I was friends with him at one time too, but I guess I was defriended, or the black helicopters finally got him? Anyone see a drone flying around Florida? I tend to not be political on there with family, friends and even high school friends, I don't think I would get the dialog and education on issues like I do here.

A Tear, as to tear into someone, tear them up, a rant. It also mean a tear such as a droplet of saline solution in the corner of the eye. As in when I read your response there were tears of laughter running down my face.
I looked it up before posting otherwise(I stand corrected) JW, will send me his analysis of my atrocious grammar and misuse of word and phrases

    Mel,

Funny you say that about Timmy. I was friends with him on Facebook as well and bought a few products from him. I needed something one day and he responded via text but the product never showed up. Tried calling and calling but no response. Like he dropped off the face of the earth....or picked up by the Gov't. Haven't heard from him since.

You were partially saved by Ron, but allow me another observation. Why is there a comma after "JW"? It is an inappropriate pause in the sentence, whereas placing it after "posting", would result in an appropriate paws.

I always paws when I think of JW. Meeting him was a life changing moment. He is a man of morals character and flare. No minced words, and a compelling need to eat, on his schedule

Tracy communicates telepathically with me on a routine basis. He is much to busy trying to get his son a baseball scholarship to LSU to worry with the forum any longer.
