   Quick question about hotels/rates,
   
   Looking at the official hotel lists, some hotels are offering early bird discounts. When do those discounts end? And also if using the early bird discounts when signing up, are there any issues if having to cancel?

   Here's the answer to your question:
   
   The early bird discounts are available through Nov. 29, 2012. There is no additional penalty -- The cancellation policy is the same whether someone books the early bird rate, or the post early bird rate.
