I have demoed the Buffalo Turbine blower recently and was wondering the difference between the Buffalo Turbine and the Toro Turbine Blower. Any help would be appreciated. Cost would not be a factor.

I love my Agrimetal TB-230. Built like a tank.

I have both and I prefer the Toro version. I have had nothing but problems with the radio controller on the Buffalo blower and I will not buy another one. The two Toro blowers have worked flawlessly.

I have a Buffalo Blower that was bought a couple years ago as used unit. Worked good the first year, hardly ran the second with remote control issues and electrical issues that haunt this unit. I am looking at the Toro or the Agrimetal next time we look at blowers.

Thanks for the information. I will take a look at the Toro and Agrimetal blowers.

We have 2 Buffalo Blowers here and they are work horses, so much so that we have just about wore the metal through on the tongues. Hard wired remotes, I would not hesitate to get another but I would demo a toro and an agrimetal as well. DMI Speed blower however save your time and money!!

Just refurbished a Buffalo Turbine after 5 years of use and had 2 prior to this at another facility. Converted all of them to wireless remotes and they have worked perfectly. Also have a Toro and it works fine as well.

Hard wired versions of the Buffalo Turbines can really be solid pieces of equipment if maintained properly. The wireless controllers had alot of problems when they first came out, and still can be finicky from time to time. That being said, the Toro ProForce, as described by our Toro rep, a slightly modified buffalo turbine with an updated wireless remote system, and a one piece molded chute vs the multiple piece metal chute on the buffalo turbine. I haven't had any hands on time with the TB-230 from Agrimetal personally, but I did have a pretty reliable 3pt hitch blower from them.

    Hello,
I have noticed quite a few Turbine Blowers for resale on various used equipment sites.
One curious question on Turbine Blowers would be is there a high or low mortality rate
    with these Blowers?
Any comments or views are welcome.
    Thank You,
