I just made a post in municipal square and I know I had some mispellings and the spell check said everything was good.

Could you all check on that when you have time? Maybe it's at my end?

    Thamks!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I will see what I can do to get this corrected and post back to this thread when a resolution is in place.

Just wondering how the spell check solution is coming...I still see issues due to my poor spelling skills. I know I'm in the Ozarks so mispelling is probably a given, but I'm hoping to look as professional as I can on my posts and since my content isn't probably there, I could use some help at least with my spelling and appear somewhat profesonel? (although I must be getting better at spelling?)

    Thanks!

    Mel,

Thank you for checking in on this.

Since my last update -- I have determined that the Google service we are using is no longer offered and I have been researching replacements. I have found a solution that I feel is a viable replacement and I am currently coding it into place. If all tests well, I should be able to open it up to everyone very soon.

I will keep this thread updated as I get everything in place.

    Thank you,

    Thanks John,

I appriciate you effort, I think sometimes we take for granted how complicated all of this technology is.

All, I have replaced the spell check, please check it out when you have a chance.

Using the new spell check is simple:

Click the Check Spelling button to get feedback on your writing. Click an underlined spelling error, grammar suggestion, or style suggestion to see more options. Click a suggestion from the list to replace within your text.

    Thank you,

Actually no, brought my english credit from either St. Pete JC, (Clearwater Campus) or maybe at Florida State, can't remember what credit Lake City took. I did take the speech class at Lake City. I will admit I took English I at SPJC twice, then English II, and I'm thinking it was College English at Florida State (I'm betting those schools would prefer not to have that endorsement). I have to thank my high school F.W. Springstead in Spring Hill FL. for preparing me so well. (I hear they are a lot better now a days).

Have noticed on occasion that the spell check doesn't always pick up misspelled words. Just wrote the following in another forum and it didn't pick up the misspelled treasurer. It did pick up on the CGCS. On this post it didn't pick up any misspellings, even misspelling treasurer again. Glad I learned to cut and paste into word.

"We don't have a membership chairman, but I am the Secretary - Tresurure, so does that count? No bonus structure though."

    Thanks!

    Mel,
I think you are just overwhelming the system with the amount of spell checking that needs to be done to your posts.

Maybe that's the tie-in to Obamacare.
