Has anyone used Tupersan on established bent/poa greens? If so, want rate gave you the best results? Thanks in advance.

Tupersan at 1#/m to suppress bermuda encroachment spring and fall...doesn't really work when bermuda is kicking in summer so save your money. It seems to be best if you can get it out early and 'keep the bermuda in dormancy' to allow bent a competitive advantage. That being said, it isn't a cure.

We use it here in Missouri for bermuda encroachment in our fringe. Seems to be doing to trick. We put a pound of it in a backpack sprayer which treats around 3000 ft2. I've read some higher rates can have some discoloring.

    Hi Paul

I used it Jun. thru Aug. every other week for Bermuda suppression. Back pack at label rate. Can't say it ever eliminated it but sure stopped encroachment After a couple of treatments runners can just be pulled up. No problem on Bent/Poa

I have used Tupersan to suppress bermuda encroachment into greens for 18 years. Agree completely with Corey's response. Will certainly suppress bermuda, no discoloration of the poa/bent greens when used at label rates.

What about bent fairways? Has anyone tried 1# rates to suppress bermuda on fairways? Thought I read there can be some root shortening from this.
