Anyone using a Lely and can share they're findings? 120#|A. 5MPH. I got mine set at 5 small feed ring using the heel toe express. My measuring wheel disappeared.

    Thoughts?

I wouldn't think that stuff would spread very good using a Lely. Would probably provide a spread pattern about 10' wide and any error in calibration would be pretty expensive.

It's spreads nicely, roughly 27'. Doing it as I type. Any wind and that changes obviously.

I remember something back in the day, Oftanol insecticide I think. It was a 1% granular and our old Lely setting was "closed." Kenneth Ingram, UMD

Hmm I thought lely ranged from settings 1-10 plus a different feed ring for finer grannuals

He means that he left it closed and just turned on the spreader. The fine particles would leak out enough, at least with an older lely.
