Anybody remember the cost of the Conference and Show last year? I thought I remember $385, but that might not have been last year.

Do we know cost of registration this year yet?

Just trying to put in a travel request, already have a room reserved, (can cancel with no penalty if work doesn't send me). I haven't checked today yet, but earlier this week I was finding flights cheap.

    Thanks!

I remember it had gone up from the $385. I can't remember exactly what it was.

I found it was an easy sell still, even at the higher price. I just had to participate in the free sessions offered (which are still very good sessions). There was at least one paid session I wanted to do, but had to skip out on last year to make up for the price hike.

    Thanks Andy,

It's a tough sell here, we had $1,000 dollars for travel/training, and it was slashed to $500. Partly I think because we wouldn't able to use it, or much of it. Used $95 last year for a regional conference, $97 for room, and $190 for my mileage. Going to San Diego would have been about $1,300 - 1,500. My room is about $290, flights are running $378.00 right now, and about $400 for conference, with luggage, shuttle and food, I'm probably looking at just under $1,100. I haven't paid for a seminar for since San Diego 2004, I have always tried to promote the "free" conference education when I have submitted my request, and I know where to hit up for the food freebies. Yep, you are dead on. I spent about $1,500 for San Diego last year. Thankfully with the show in Orlando this year, I'm using the excess that I would have spent on travel to allow two of my assistants to also go for a day or so, but if they want to partake in some of the extracurricular nightly activities, they will need to foot the bill for their own hotel room.
