Best place to stay in Orlando Cancel The title field is required!

   Hi All
   I will be attending GIS in Orlando , This is a first for me in Orlando would appreciate any tips/help regarding Hotels,Location ect have looked on the housing site will be playing GCSAA Champs as well.
   Any help Feedback would be most grateful.

   If money is not an issue the head quarter hotel is where the staff of GCSAA and most of the speakers/ teachers stay and you can run into them in elevators ect. if you are out going enough this is the best option.Next I would suggest the farthest GCSAA hotel as the time spent on the shuttle bus and the people you can meet is priceless. Picture getting on a full bus and everyone does what you do. Lastly the Hawaiian village has a couple very affordable hotels and is within walking distance but lacks the opportunities that the other choices offer.

   I stay at the Marriott Grand Vista resort and drive the couple of minutes as it is just south of Sea World. They have nice multi bedroom condos to share with others.

   I've stayed and am staying this time at the Econolodge hotel, just under 2 miles up International Drive. It is fairly inexpensive, and I believe it was renovated 3 years ago. Nothing fancy, but I don't spend a lot of time in my room anyway.
   
   Price sure makes my employer happy.
