    GREETINGS ALL;

    I would like to say THANK YOU to Jim Cummins, PGA Tournament Director - Jessica Thompson, CEM Tournament Manager, GCSAA Staff and GCSAA Directors and of course the Sponsor TORO. It took a great deal of courage to re-schedule this tournament with the pandemic slowly fading out. It looked as though the country was heading in the right direction when the decision was made. I, for one was really happy to attend although I left my golf game back in MA.

    Jessica & Staff put on three great receptions on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday & excellent choices of food & beverages. Best way to say it is something for everybody. Toro sponsored a 150 yard shootout for all with a $$$$ surprise.

    GCSAA be proud and hold your head up high. You did the right thing in re-scheduling this tournament.

    A few side notes. The wind on Monday Evening was forecast to be up to 65 MPH. And, I think it was pretty close to that. The golf courses did an amazing job in cleaning up for the Tuesday  Event. On one par 3 hole, I scooped it off the tee. I then took an 8 iron to hit it over the palm tree. I hit the top of the tree and it stayed in the palms.

    My daughter Jen came with us to Desert Springs Resort & Wednesday morning she drove us to the Palm Springs Airport. My wife and I were going to Las Vegas for a week. The flight was at 11:55 A.M. the plane was at the gate and we were told that the bulb on the wing of Southwest had to be replaced and the plane would leave @ 12:30 P.M. Time went by and on the posting of the flights now was 1:30 P.M. My daughter called me and said she got a text from the airline the plane would be cancelled. She said hurry to the ticket counter and get tickets to Phoenix @ 3:30 then to Vegas @ 7:30 P.M. We did & minutes later it came over the system that flite XXXX to Las Vegas was cancelled. I only say this because I've seen on TV when people get stranded and there isn't a darn thing they can do about it. Now, I know the feeling. We were lucky to get to Vegas 8 hours later. However, Southwest cancelled thousands of flites because the pilots were concerned about getting or not getting the vaccinations.

    Again, THANK YOU for the wonderful time @ the 2021 Golf Tournament.

    Glad to see you back Capt.

    Do you or others in the greater Boston area have any idea how to contact John Winskowitz. The last I heard he was selling Green equipment. May be retired now.

    Thanks in advance for any info.
