Hi to all of you computer software gurus,

I have a question about a created word document with and/or without pictures, if I was interested in putting together a larger document in booklet form, (such as a long range plan, budget document, etc). Can I just copy and paste that into say Microsoft publisher? Or would it be easier to copy and paste into another larger word document?

Also would I be able to copy and paste excel spreadsheets into such documents?

Another question, can these word documents be copy and pasted into a power point document?

I have a couple of word documents for specific projects, plans, budget justification, and other items, just wondering if I can take that information, update it into a bigger facility document.

    Thanks!

This is a little unconventional, but I've found that using power point is very good for something like this. Change the orientation to portrait. All Microsoft programs work with power point, so you can import anything from Excel, Word ect... Also, it makes it very easy to layout pages with pictures and text. Many templates available also include page numbers to give it that booklet feel. If you want hard copies just about any print shop can do that for you. I've been very happy with the booklets I've made using power point.

Thanks Adam! I haven't take a Power Point class in a while, but I'll give it a shot.

No problem. Good luck! Any issues you might have can usually be solved with a quick google search. I was able to put a 50 page booklet together without many issues using google to troubleshoot along the way.
