Looking for ways to train an assistant and a new mechanic using virtual means. Thinking of joining them to gcsaa then doing the compentcy  tests. Trying to use winter to bring new people in the industry up to speed quickly. Anybody have any suggestions for low budget high impact training.

The webinars on here are great for new and experienced workers. There's over 200 different ones over a large range of educational points, including general knowledge all the way up to Best Management Practices and Equipment Knowledge.

For the assistant I would recommend Ohio State's online turf certificate program. It is pretty good and is very cost efficient.

For the mechanic, www.golftechs.net/now. Hundreds of years of experience on just about every machine on a golf course.
